Tesla’s third-generation home charger, up to 7.4 kW single-phase or 22 kW three-phase, with a long 7.3 metre cable and Wi-Fi control from the Tesla app. Works with any Type 2 EV, not just Teslas.
The Tesla Wall Connector (Gen 3) is a clean, minimalist home charger that fits neatly on a wall. On single-phase it delivers up to 7.4 kW; on three-phase, up to 22 kW. Its long 7.3 metre tethered cable easily reaches the charge port wherever you park.
Built-in Wi-Fi connects it to the Tesla app so you can monitor charging, schedule off-peak sessions and get automatic software updates. Despite the name it works with any EV that charges over a Type 2 connector. Backed by a four-year warranty and our lifetime workmanship guarantee.
Up to 7.4 kW on single-phase or 22 kW on three-phase, so it suits everything from a townhouse to a big three-phase home.
Monitor sessions, schedule off-peak charging and get automatic software updates from the Tesla app over Wi-Fi.
It carries a Type 2 connector, so it charges any EV that accepts AC charging — not only Teslas.

*Range per hour is the maker’s own figure. Your car sets the real speed: many EVs accept 7 kW or 11 kW on AC, so a 22 kW charger only charges at 22 kW if your car can take it.
Whatever charger you choose, the install standard is the same. Here’s what’s included as standard:
Before we lock in your quote we check your home Wi-Fi reaches the charger. If it doesn’t, we sort out the options with you and quote them before booking, never on install day.
Yes. It has a Type 2 plug, so it charges BYD, MG, Kia, Hyundai, Polestar and any other EV that uses Type 2 for AC charging.
Up to 7.4 kW on single-phase, which adds about 50 km of range per hour to a Model 3 or Model Y. On three-phase the charger can deliver up to 22 kW, but your car sets the final speed. Tesla lists the Model 3 and Model Y RWD at 11 kW on three-phase.
Only with a Powerwall. Tesla’s Charge on Solar feature needs a Powerwall with solar, and it only charges Teslas. Without a Powerwall, you can schedule charging for the middle of the day. If solar charging is the priority, look at the Evnex E2 Core or the Zappi.
Wi-Fi gives you the Tesla app controls, scheduling and software updates. We check your signal reaches the charger before we quote, and if it doesn’t, we sort out the options with you before booking.
Tesla covers the charger with a 4-year warranty for home installs. On top of that, our workmanship is guaranteed for life.
Not always. The charger needs its own circuit with a 32 A Type A RCBO. If your board is old, full or can’t safely take it, we’ll tell you before you book and put the work on your quote. No surprises on the day.
With a calibrated EV simulator. It loads the charger under real charging and fault conditions. We never plug into your car to test. We also do full AS/NZS 3000 testing and lodge the CCEW through the Building Commission NSW eCert portal.
Every home is different: the distance from your switchboard, the wall, and whether the board needs work all change the job. We give you a free, fixed price on a written quote, with no callout fee. What’s on the quote is what you pay.
